Our Camp Themes
Think it! Draw it! Make it!
Children take a journey to the farthest reaches of their imagination while learning about the ocean, the rainforest, Mars, a futuristic city, and more. They experiment with Crayola® products and many art techniques like sculpting, story-boarding, collage, and mixed media. They discover design careers like graphic design, universal design, urban design, and product design.
World of Design TopicsTravel the World Through Art
Kids take an around-the-world cultural adventure. They explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to Polynesia, from the city to the countryside. They experiment with Crayola® products, while trying art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. They make different masterpieces each week such as drums, masks, canvases, prints, buses, and more!
Artist's Passport TopicsThe Art of Conservation
Kids explore the wonder of the animal kingdom and discover nature in a way that inspires empathy, curiosity, and creativity. They learn about many different animals and how wildlife conservationists are working to protect species around the globe. They experiment with art techniques and use Crayola® art materials to create frog paintings, ink-diffusion jellyfish, polar bear sculptures, and more!
Wild World TopicsArtists Who Changed The World
History is full of revolutionary artists. Discover the inspiring artworks and artists who have changed the world of art and the world as we know it — from Frida Kahlo’s self-portraits to Keith Haring’s street art. Experiment with art techniques, and use Crayola art supplies to express your ideas. Design a different unique, artist-inspired creation every day.
Art Blazers TopicsUnleashing Creativity through Myths and Mystery
From sea creatures of the deep to phoenixes in the sky, every society has its legends and lore. We'll tell their stories through paintings, sculptures, and other works of art. These legends may inspire awe, curiosity or surprise, but they all inspire our imaginations!

FAQ
Can I sign my child up for more than one camp?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it. Each program is completely different, so your child can enjoy them all without repeating activities!
+Who are the Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy™ camp instructors?
Our instructors tend to be artists, college students pursuing an education or art degree, former/retired teachers, or teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children and have undergone an extensive background check.
+What is the child to instructor ratio for camps?
The child to instructor ratio varies depending on enrollment and location. We always have at least one instructor for every 12-15 students.
+Do you provide drinks or snacks at your camps?
No, we don't. We ask that you send your child with a mid-morning (or afternoon) snack, and their favorite drink labelled with their name. Just in case, we always have some bottled water available for those that forget to bring it from home.
